Your Product Support Sales Representative can meet with you to discuss different Preventive Maintenance options. These Customer Support Agreements are extremely versatile and can be custom tailored to your specific needs. Depending on the application and customer preference, proper preventive maintenance could be as comprehensive as regularly scheduled servicing and load bank testing, or as simple as periodic testing and inspections. Holt Power Systems offers Customer Support Agreements designed for electric power generation, industrial engines, and marine applications. We also offer preventive maintenance for transfer switches.

Engine Service
Our engine shops are designed specifically for engines and related component repairs. Factory trained technicians specialize in specific components to provide fast dependable rebuilds.

During the engine rebuild process, the assemblies are stripped and disassembled. Cleaning is thorough and efficient in a separate steam cleaning room for engines and large components, and in agitating chemical tanks for assemblies and small components.

Our component shops allow precision rebuilding of engine components. Individual component repair stations are equipped with all the special tooling and specification data needed. Fuel injection systems and governors are checked and adjusted on special fuel injection test stands to provide accurate, adjustment-free performance.

SOS (Scheduled Oil Sampling)
Scheduled Oil Sampling (S.O.S.) alerts you to trouble so you can prevent costly equipment breakdowns and repair before failure. S.O.S. measures wear in specific components by determining the amount of wear particles in the oil from that component. An Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer accurately and consistently identifies the parts per million of wear elements in the oil being sampled. Elements that can be detected include iron, aluminum, silicon, copper and chromium. Other tests detect fuel dilution, water and anti-freeze, and measure viscosity.

Sample data is recorded for each machine and each compartment sampled. Results are now within 24 hours so that repairs can be scheduled before costly failure occurs. Each report shows current sample data as well as previous data.
